Crikey! Just noticed that my 3 month time limit is almost up. After that I will be removed from LibDemBlogs for the gross misconduct of not posting. Even marrying Ryan will not save me from this awful fate! There have been times this winter when I have found something remotely interesting to tell you all about but for whatever reason I didn't. Forgetting my blogger password didn't help. One thing I wrote down though (yes I prefer pen and paper, haven't progressed to the digital age yet) was during the snow. I misheard Radio 4:

'Widespread lizards have caused disruption across the country.'

Well I thought it was funny.

Instead of the usual punishments, I think that instead we could sentence our miscreants to the enforced public wearing of garments from this wonderful company. Wouldn't it be far more effective?

Whilst browsing the Debenhams Weddings site I found a gift list registered for one rather interesting couple. The bride's name was there but her groom was 'TBA'. I see that girl has her priorities right!!

For today's Random Act of Kindness I did consider finding a couple with a wedding tomorrow who still have things on their list, but I didn't. Sorry.

Dave has seemingly moved on. Apologies to the regulars who have been hungry this week. Normal service will be resumed shortly.

This week we have welcomed into our midst a fine example of British history, sadly not Mr Cameron, but a racing pigeon named Dave*. I'm presuming he's a racing pigeon because he has lots of brightly coloured bling and, well, looks like a pigeon. Yesterday the bird feeder came crashing down off the window, presumably because Dave, being not that used to fending for himself, thought he was a Sparrow but then reaslised he was actually quite heavy. This resulted in seed being deposited all over the back yard, which he proceeded to hoover up. A result for Dave.

I'm not sure where his fate lies. If you have any helpful advice on pigeon husbandry or know of any avian social workers pray do tell.

I am currently reading Attention all shipping: A Journey Round the Shipping Forecast by Charlie Connelly, and stumbled upon this intriguing word on page 4. As a young teenager keen to make my mark in a tough rural girls grammar school I had a 'word of the week' for a short while. Perhaps if I had maintained this strict regime I would have now known the meaning of sesquipedalian and not had to interrupt my reading in order to blog about it.

After last week's episode where I played 'reasonable adult' today I went on a killing spree. Ooooh sweet revenge. In the absence of any propriety insect killers I used Domestos spray, Oust and Pledge. My membership of the Lincolnshire Wildlife Trust may be revoked but at least my house is now clean!

There is rumour that I may be the youngest Lib Dem group leader. I am 25 1/2. The other half of the group is a whole 8 weeks younger than me. Does that make us the youngest council group too?

Out of curiosity and sheer desperation, I have decided that it is high time I started my own blog. Not knowing anything about web publishing can only be beneficial to me, as it means I may actually see Ryan once in a while. All you web widows/widowers will understand. Also, since I can't afford post grad study, it will hopefully keep my mind sharp until I find a mildly intellectual job.

So, what to expect from my blog?
Ramblings on daily life, nothing too philosophical as that part of my brain died long ago. Plenty of Lib Demmery to keep the LibDemBlogs webmaster pleased (it would just be too embarrassing to be kicked off). Apologies in advance to those of you who may be offended if it becomes somewhat similar to Leah and Robin Darbyshire's musings on smug marital bliss.

Please leave your comments, good or bad. I opened a can of whoop ass on the local Tory boys today so I can cope with anything now.
